FC Real Sireți gets a first-hand look at the La21 model
The Moldovan club’s president, Vladimir Rebreja, visited RCD Espanyol to learn about the work being carried out within the club’s youth academy
RCD Espanyol welcomed Vladimir Rebreja, president of FC Real Sireți, a club from the Moldovan Super Liga, who visited Barcelona to learn first-hand about the La21 model and its approach to youth development.
During his visit, Rebreja learned about the structure and day-to-day work of Espanyol’s youth academy, as well as different aspects related to the development and training of young footballers. The visit highlights the international interest generated by the La21 model, a youth development structure recognised as a benchmark beyond Spain’s borders.
FC Real Sireți is one of the most notable growing projects in Moldovan football. Based in a small town, the club has undergone significant development in recent years, rising to the top tier of Moldovan football.
Its project goes beyond sporting results, focusing on the development of young talent, education and creating new opportunities for future generations. With a clear long-term vision, the Moldovan club is also working to establish links and partnerships with international clubs and academies in order to share knowledge and experiences.
The visit to RCD Espanyol forms part of this growth strategy and provided an opportunity to share experiences around youth development and strengthen the relationship between the two clubs, with La21 serving as a key reference point.
Another example of the international reach of RCD Espanyol’s youth development model and the importance of La21 as one of the club’s main pillars.
