4-0 win for Juvenil A
The Under-19s beat UE Sant Andreu to maintain a perfect record
RCD Espanyol Juvenil A defeated UE Sant Andreu 4-0 at home, to become outright leaders of their division. Makar (x2), Adri Escribano, and Nil scored the goals.
The visiting side set up a low block with a back five to stifle RCD Espanyol's play. The team read the game well, creating numerical advantages by finding Polli between the lines, as well as looking for one-on-one situations on the flanks.
Polli issued an early warning with a curling shot that forced a spectacular save from Joel Díaz.
Espanyol kept the pressure up, and Adri Escribano also had a great chance, but his effort struck the post.
The opening goal came from Makar, who capitalised on a scramble in the box following a brilliant solo run by Antonio Moreno down the left wing.
The same duo combined for Espanyol's second goal, as a precise cross from the left-back was met by a clinical finish from the striker to make it 2-0.
At the start of the second half, Espanyol were awarded a penalty. Adri Escribano beat the goalkeeper from the spot to score the third goal of the game.
In the closing stages, Eric Aragonés played a low ball into the box, Aarón let it run, and Nil took the final score to 4-0.
